Program: Interiors for an architectural firm
Solution: This interiors project involved the design and build-out of an addition to an an existing architect's office in an existing office building. A tight budget necessitated a creative solution.
An industrial aesthetic was employed in this space. Exposed ductwork, simple drywall finishes and economical carpet were combined with selective use of maple paneling and large-scale glazing detailed with stainless steel fittings. The major conference room was conceived as a brightly-lit place where design work is done and visitors and employees passing by are encouraged to watch the process.
